The Role:

PBS Systems is looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our PBS Client Services Support team in its IT and Infrastructure department in the Calgary office. As an Cloud Analyst you will provide excellent support to our internal customers. The ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge with Microsoft technologies and be expert in Microsoft server management and Microsoft Azure. Microsoft technologies and be expert in Microsoft server management and Microsoft Azure. Job Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Provide excellent support to our customers in our software
  • Support and troubleshoot issues that are both called in and emailed to the Helpdesk team
  • Write up tickets and investigate issues that arise
  • Escalate critical issues to senior team members
  • Responds to both internal and external support requests in a timely manner
  • Work on Special Projects as assigned
  • Manage Windows Servers, Hyper-V Virtualization, Application servers like SharePoint, SCCM, VPN, Print Servers etc.
  •  Manage daily backups using Veearn/Windows
  • Manage VOIP System 3CX
  • Install new users using Active Directory and Exchange Management Console and setup workstations, install network cabling etc.
  • Tier 2 Analyst keeps users informed about their escalations/incident’s status at agreed intervals
  • Tier 2 takes over Incidents which cannot be solved immediately with the means of Tier 1 Systems Analyst
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, 2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Hyper-V, VPN, RADIUS, Exchange
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365/Office 365: Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, PowerApps, MS Flow
  • Implement advanced functions of Office 365 including security, governance, and compliance (e.g. DLP, IRM, PIM, MDM, E-Discovery, In-Place Hold, Retention Tags, MFA, ATP)

 

Qualifications: 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, incident management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot within Windows Servers and Windows 10
  • Understanding of windows deployment using SCCM/Intune and remote deployment Applications
  • Thorough understanding of PC Hardware & Software with a focus on Microsoft Products
  • Knowledge of Hyper-V//VMware
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure): Azure AD, AD Synch, Azure MFA, Sentinel, Intune/AutoPilot/MDM
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365/Office 365: Exchange Online, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, PowerApps, MS Flow
  • Knowledge of Veeam or other backup technologies
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Strong documentation abilities
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Customer focus / Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management and organization
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritization
  • Willingness to commitment to an ongoing system of education and cross-training
  • Available to travel
  • Available to work nonstandard hours and occasionally Saturday and/or Sunday.
